Question 1

What is Edibic intended to help property managers do?

Accepted Answer

Edibic is intended to help U.S. property managers relay public utility water outage, maintenance, and boil-water notices to residents. This is the product’s intended purpose, not a guarantee that Edibic currently provides a complete end-to-end relay service.

Question 2

What can property managers do in the app today?

Accepted Answer

Property managers can save public utility notice-page URLs, trigger checks on demand, and review saved notice drafts. Continuous monitoring and resident delivery through Edibic are not currently available.

Question 3

What does a saved notice draft contain?

Accepted Answer

Each saved draft contains an exact passage from the utility page and that page’s source URL. The draft is available for property manager review.

Question 4

Does Edibic change the utility’s instructions?

Accepted Answer

No. Notice instructions retain the utility’s published wording. Edibic does not interpret, summarize, rewrite, or replace utility guidance. The utility that issued the notice remains the authority for its instructions.

Question 5

Where should property teams and residents verify notice details?

Accepted Answer

Check utility-specific instructions and details at the linked official utility source. A saved draft includes the source URL so property teams and residents can refer to the page where the notice was published.

Question 6

What does a successful check reporting no notice mean?

Accepted Answer

A successful check can report that no notice was found on the checked page. This is a completed check result, not a failed check. It describes what the check found on that page; it does not guarantee that no notice exists.

Question 7

What if a page check fails or is incomplete?

Accepted Answer

A failed or incomplete page check does not establish that no notice exists. It saves no new draft, and previously saved drafts remain available.
